NEW Managing Relationships Programme
Over the past few months, we noticed that there has been a dramatic increase in the number of our members who are struggling with relationship breakdowns and family issues therefore we wanted to provide some further support in this area.
To help with this, we have created a new 3 week pilot ‘Managing Relationships Programme’
This programme will allow our members to explore their own relationships, learn some tools and techniques to help work through any current relationship issues they may be experiencing including understanding, responding and resolving conflict with loved ones. The group will also include relaxation hypnotherapy!
We will focus on a variety of relationships, not just romantic partners. This programme is designed for any of our members struggling with relationships with their family, children, friends or colleagues too.
We can’t wait to start this new group in May! Please contact us if you would like more information.
This month, we also completed another Bereavement Group in partnership with Love Jasmine. This is such a special group to us all, we have received amazing feedback including our members telling us that…
“Having this group has been such a big help as I never felt judged and it has helped me to relax and feel like myself again”
“It has been great to know that others are in the same position as me, I feel so much calmer after sharing my grief”
We are so proud of everyone who trusts us to support them through their grief.
The next group will begin in May. Please contact us if you would like more information.
Do you support a loved one who is struggling with their mental health, did you know that support is also available for you too?
Please take a look at our web page or email email@example.com for more information on our Family Support Network.
- This is a non judgmental support group for families who support a loved one with mental health concerns. Your loved one does not have to attend Sean’s Place.
- You will also receive hypnotherapy to help reduce your stress levels and aid with improving sleep.
- In week 4 you will also receive suicide prevention training to help you support your loved one at home (optional).
- The course is completely free!
- “I am feeling less alone with my problems & I have realised I need to take time to think about myself”
- “I felt comfortable from the start, I feel like I have known everyone for such a long time!”
- “This was a new experience for me, everyone should try it!”
- “It is a great blend of being in the moment with like-minded people and also having the hypnotherapy to let go of my worries”
Sean’s Place in the Community…
We are thrilled to be back in contact with the team at Decent Donuts who raised money for our service last year. This time, the team organised a PAY WHAT YOU FEEL day, where they did not take payments for all their yummy treats, instead they asked customers to anonymously donate into the Sean’s Place charity bucket.
The incredible team at Decent Donuts raised £420 or our service! Thank you so much to Ant and the team for all your support.
We also wanted to say a huge thank you to the amazing Emily, who ran the London Marathon this month in order to fundraise for Sean’s Place. Thank you so much Emily and I hope you can now have a well deserved rest!
The wonderful Apollo Care Liverpool team also raised £300 for our service through their own Easter Raffle! Thank you to all those who have got involved and bought a ticket, we are so honoured to be chosen as an organisation to support 🙂
After the huge success of the Sean’s Place Night at the Races on Friday 24th March, our fabulous fundraiser Chris is currently auctioning a pair of 4 day standard camping tickets for Creamfields North 2023, with all proceeds being donated directly to Sean’s Place!
