September Highlights…

Culture Club Day Out

Some of our amazing lads had a fantastic time at the Liverpool Museum this September with our Culture Club. Huge thank you to Matt for showing us around the new Ken Dodd “Happiness” Exhibition and thank you Dawn for arranging it all. A great day spent with great company 💙⭐️

New course cohort

A huge good luck to our new cohort of students who this month began studying mental health awareness, stress awareness and mentoring courses with our amazing partners Clear Solutions Training. We are all very proud of you ⭐️💙💙

Our team had a fantastic night at the Film Premier of Bolan’s Shoes. They mingled with the stars such as Timothy Spall whilst proudly watching as our video was shown to the audience of celebrities and businesses to raise awareness of our service. We are honored to have been chosen to be supported at this event by the team at Buffalo Dragon dragon and cannot thank everyone enough.💙🎬

A fantastic end to another brilliant Man2Man programme with our partners LFC Foundation
Well done to all those who took part and recieved your certificates. Special recognition to Ryan who has stepped up to support another of our members to attend this group. It was lovely to see your kindness rewarded ❤️
If you would like to take part in the next group please pop us an email 😊

We had a lovely visit from the team at Green Sefton today who will be working in partnership with our amazing Gardening club to improve our outdoor sanctuary for our members. We can’t wait to work with them.💙☘️🌿

We are beyond excited to be launching the We’re Here campaign this month. This came about after our founder Debbie highlighted during a meeting that it is just too difficult for people to find support. She was sick of attending events in hidden places that were meant to be speaking to the public so we had to ensure it was easier for people to find the help they need.

Our friends at Public Health picked this up and fully supported the idea. Together we planned, designed and published the campaign which went live this month.

The Radio City Tower was also lit up green in support and there will be an advertisement on Radio City which features familiar voices of Sean’s Place. Posters linking to the Sefton in Mind directory of support will be displayed in Barber Shops, Bus stops, the back of buses and on beer mats in local pubs. There will also be a taxi wrapped in the campaign driving around the local area too.

We are so proud of what we’ve created and hopefully this now means people in Sefton can access the support they need all in one place.

We’ve had a fantastic September with lots of support available for our members at Sean’s Place.

Sean’s Place in the Community…

We have had some amazing fundraisers happen this month supporting Sean’s Place ❤️
Including Danny who has raised an amazing £780 for Sean’s Place cycling all the way from London to Brighton. Unfortunately, just before the finish line Danny took a fall off his bike and injured himself. He is thankfully ok and now has a long road to a full recovery resting at home! I think we all can agree Danny needs a big round of applause from us all! We send all our love to Danny and thank you so much for supporting Sean’s Place.

A big shoutout to Sean Triggs! WELL DONE to Sean for raising £1310 for Sean’s Place by completing his Great North run !! We are so proud of you Sean, you are amazing!

Brothers, Paul and Craig Speed completed their 15K Tough Mudder Challenge last week and what a challenge it was, it look so hard and we are so proud of them both for completing it so far they have raised £1200 for Sean’s Place.
Thank you on behalf of us all! 💙
