Last week we were delighted to announce we are now part of the National Suicide Prevention Alliance, this means we can contribute towards reducing suicide not just locally but also nationally.
At Sean’s Place everything we do is designed to work towards suicide prevention, we offer community support which provides a space for men to talk, share their story, and build confidence and self esteem. We also provide support to families by providing free mental health training and workshops to enable them to support their loved ones at home. We hope that by providing this support men we can prevent further men reaching suicidal crisis
We have also met for the first time with the Sefton Suicide Prevention Group which allows us to contribute towards research, providing statistics and feedback and using our voice to prevent suicides in our community.
